Beaches

What time do beaches start checking badges?
Beach badge check times vary depending on the town. Below are the typical badge check hours for some popular New Jersey Shore beaches:
  • Asbury Park Beach: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • ​Bradley Beach: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Avon-by-the-Sea Beach: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Belmar Beach: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Spring Lake Beach: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Manasquan Beach: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Point Pleasant Beach: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Bay Head Beach: 9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m.

Tip: Badge hours can change due to weather or local events, so it’s always a good idea to check the official town website before heading to the beach.

Can I bring a cooler onto the beach in New JErsey?
Yes! All of the beaches we serve allow coolers on the sand, except for Spring Lake. At Spring Lake Beach, you may bring a cooler, but it must remain on the boardwalk.

Keep in mind that each beach may have its own rules about cooler sizes, so we recommend checking local regulations before you pack for the day. That way, you can enjoy your snacks and drinks without any surprises.
Can you bring alcohol onto the beach in New Jersey?
Alcohol is not permitted on most New Jersey beaches, including the areas we serve. This includes beer, wine, and cocktails. Beach patrols and local ordinances strictly enforce this rule to ensure safety and a family-friendly environment.

If you’d like to enjoy a drink by the shore, there are plenty of fantastic Jersey Shore restaurants and bars with ocean views nearby: These local favorites offer delicious food, refreshing drinks, and scenic views—perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun.
Are cabanas allowed on New Jersey beaches?
 Yes—most New Jersey Shore beaches allow 8' x 8' CoolCabanas, making them a popular choice for shade and comfort during your beach day.

The only exception is The White Sands Beach in Point Pleasant Beach, where cabanas are not permitted. At this location, only standard beach umbrellas are allowed.

If you’re visiting beaches like Manasquan, Belmar, Spring Lake, or Asbury Park, you can usually set up a CoolCabana without issue, but we always recommend checking local guidelines before your visit to avoid any surprises.

Whether you’re staying in a vacation rental, hotel, or visiting for the day, our beach chair, umbrella, cabana, and cooler rentals are brought right to your preferred spot.
How does your beach setup service work?    
Our beach setup service makes your day effortless. We deliver your reserved items—chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, coolers, and more—directly to the beach, arrange everything for you, and text you a picture of the set up.  We return at the end of the day to pack it up. No carrying, no hassle—just pure relaxation.
Can I rent beach chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas for a day?
Yes! We offer daily beach chair, umbrella, and cabana rentals throughout the Jersey Shore, including popular spots like Manasquan, Belmar, Spring Lake, Point Pleasant Beach, and Bradley Beach.

We don’t have a brick-and-mortar storefront—our rentals are delivered directly to you. Same-day rentals depend on our schedule and where our beach setups are for the day. If we’re in your area, we can deliver your beach chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas to the beach entrance or location of your choice. To request a same-day rental, simply call us in the morning. Our beach equipment setups are completed by 11:00 a.m., so the earlier you contact us, the more likely we can accommodate your request.
What beaches do you offer beach wheelchair rentals for in New Jersey?
We provide beach wheelchair rentals at many popular Jersey Shore beaches, including Asbury Park, Avon, Bradley Beach, Belmar, Spring Lake, Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach, and Bay Head.

Our sand-friendly beach wheelchairs are designed for easy rolling on the beach, allowing everyone to enjoy the shoreline comfortably. Each rental includes delivery and pickup directly to your beach location, so you can focus on relaxing and making memories.

Meet Dana and Jeff, the husband-and-wife team behind Shore to Please. As parents of three, they know firsthand how stressful a family vacation can be. After years of beach trips that left them feeling like they needed a vacation after their vacation, they decided to do something about it. That’s how Shore to Please was born—a premier beach concierge  designed to eliminate the stress and bring the joy back to your beach days.

With their own children now in college, Dana and Jeff haven’t forgotten the chaos of those early years—and they’re passionate about helping other families, couples, and friend groups enjoy truly relaxing, stress-free getaways. Whether you’re coming for a day or a week, they handle the details so you can focus on making memories.

Dana is a middle school language arts teacher and Jeff is a high school athletic trainer. With summers off, they dedicate their time to running Shore to Please with care, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of what makes a vacation feel like a vacation.
